Can inspection areas that use different tolerance settings be overlapped?

Answer to question 9:
We call these areas inspection zones and yes, they can be overlapped. Let me explain what this means. The ability of allowing many different inspection zones with different tolerance settings proved to be an extremely powerful feature. However, it is also important that inspection zones can be setup as quick as possible. We achieved this by using the following concept:

One main inspection zone with moderate tolerance settings that covers all of the area to be inspected is created first . Then other zones, usually with much tighter tolerance settings that cover for example critical text areas or bar codes are added. The following picture shows an example.

Zone 1 covers the entire label, whereas zone 2 and zone 3 only define specialized areas. The job setup is simple, self-explanatory and quick.
